Hello there,

Yes I know my blog went always about Linux, but I started in Feb a education project and it couldn't be else then that was about Windows, well fine because its most used operating system.

So now I'm Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist for Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuration, ofcourse I still don't have any practical experience so hope get this soon, but I passed with almost a full score 975/1000.

Next up is Windows 7 Configuring, yeah I know extermly boring all off this, but I gotta do it, its my chance to get in the IT.

Are you disapointed to that you can't run OSX in virtualbox

Fellow Linux users before I get the people behind me who justify the way how Apple makes rules, I am not bowing before Apple, if they sell me something its my, so if I wanna jailbreak my Iphone because Apple doesn't want you things on the Iphone without checking them, and if Apple says no its no.

So here we have a true evil company, though when I google on how to run OSX in virtualbox I see the moderators on Linux forums bowing to Apple, because Apple says they are bowing down to them, I think those people are hypocrites, Opensource is about freedom, and though they always blabber about that, in fact they are bowing to Apple.

So I am very disappointed because I can not run OSX in virtual box, and you can even not do this on a Mac where Linux runs on, and thats just sad that Apple is using excuses like, it would ruin OSX, and OSX is so good because its only ships with Mac's.

Then let me ask Apple, why does OSX run perfectly fine on my Atom330? The excusse they make are not valid for me, they are trying to force people to buy a exspensive Mac, which doesn't provide the power computer, because for same money you should be able to build a PC with OSX which is more powerful.

I just was thinking about the time when I started working with Linux, the reason I still know, I was bored of Windows and wanted something new, so I found about opensuse, very modern looking operating system already at that time.

So I started using opensuse, thanks to someone on the internet which uses the nickname dummyxl, I started there making opensuse complete, everything went fine, but still I was not satisfied with opensuse.

And then I heard from some guy that Ubuntu the operating system which doesnt suite my taste also has a kde version like opensuse, so I start using Kubuntu 7.04, I had beryl, and everything I had on opensuse, but there was one bug which makes adept crash, so adept was closed, and I started installing Kubuntu over again.

The changes in my life because I use Linux.

When your friends or girlfriend are using Linux u can come across some very frustrating problems, like the one I just solved after years, my webcam works under linux 6 of 10 times it wouldnt connect to my contacts, so that kind meant that I could not see my contacts on cam.

In Windows you don't have ofcourse this problem, but the solution I found you need to forward some ports, I will share the ports with my readers. Protocol is TCP/UDP.

So lucky we can solve this, but this we can not solve easy.

So after 3 years of using Linux I found a way to solve problem with the webcam, but when I bought this super modern phone called the Iphone, new problems came, and u can only solve it half.

Ofcourse I don't like running Windows, but this point its either running Hackintosh, or running Windows, still maybe the best solution would be a dual boot, but I don't want that, so I just had first my old laptop with Windows 7 RC on it to update my Iphone, which quite a hassle because I needed transfer new music to the laptop to.

There are sulotions already, but none off them seem to work to update the music on iphone, ifuse I can just only download my pictures from iphone, which is great, because I don't often download new music, but what when I want new music on it or putting a app on it?

Yes thats right we still need to use Windows, but I choosed to run it in Virtualbox. Is this a solution, yes but still you nee Windows, so its not the best, but a better one is not there, and worse thing from updating my music in virtualbox is that usb transfers is really slow, so takes very long to just put this app from 7 mb on it.

So great u can not put new music on it in 15 min, thats why your life changes with Linux, good and bad things come your way, if we could just solve all the bad ones then Linux would be suited for more people.

Hello fellow Linux users, I am starting now to install Windows 7 in Virtual box, everything starts very good, virtual box knows how much space I need a suggest 512mb of memory, but I put it to around 800mb.

So whats the point from having a virtual Windows 7? I think the point is that Windows XP is outdated, and a new operating system like Windows 7 will have better performance, at least thats what I hope.

So I will be starting the installation now, it only gives me English as language, so to bad no Dutch, but I will select Dutch Time and Currency format, so lets click the button next, and the see what will happen next.

You can see that Kubuntu will offer you many language to install your operating system in, but Windows not, you only get one or with OEM you have 3 chooses.

I have to admit, nowadays installing a operating system is as easy as it can be, to bad pc stores charge much money for this, lucky we Linux users are smart enough to know better.

This is something I haven't see before with any operating system, so thats quite cool, choosing if you want x64 or x86. Okay please don't choose x64 I got error this cpu is not x64 lol. Or else u get screen telling u that.

Okay I will accept it, lucky they are not as Apple, Aplle is much worse then Microsoft, I don't get why Ms Kroes doesnt give them some fee from millions of euro's,.

So now its really starting to install after answering all the stuff and clicking next next next.

Later I will write the rest, it will take some time till it finished.

UPDATE

So after finshing installing I needed to install the guest addon, and now I have Windows7 as big like that, though aero doesnt work, I still wonder why because virtual box support 3d acceleration.

Okay I know enough what about the performance?

Boot time is longer the XP in virtualbox needs.

Hello fellow Linux users, yes I am bored but also I am wondering if Windows 7 would run better then XP in virtualbox, I have being running XP to update my iphone with music, but in XP it takes very long.

So I wonder would Windows 7 be better suited or not, or should I run OSX? You know I would really love if u could update iphone just in Linux, but Apple just doesn't provide drivers for Linux.

Do u think my English could be better?

Hello fellow Linux users, I going ask u something personal about my blog, please answer honest on this question. I got on http://kerkraadse-kde-user.blogspot.com/2009/08/kubuntu-910-unstable.html a reaction from a dutch person who says my english would be bad and not readable.

Now I know from myself, and I don't tell this often, that I have fairly good English for someone who does not speake native english and does have not English classes, neither did I on school, and I dont go to university.

If u think I could make my english better, please tell me which program will be best for that, I already watch many tv shows in English.

Please comment on this one, I need to know it, I wanna keep writing blogs when I have something to share with u people.

Solution for Iphone under Linux

Hello, Yesterday I said Windows 7 RC goodbye to, after my little brother told me it said that it will expire, so I said to him lets put Kubuntu 9.10 on it, so I erased Windows 7 and placed Kubuntu 9.10 on it.

Thats where the computer in this house are running Linux, only my mom doesn't want to yet, but once she said I could do it but then she decides to ask some guy to put Windows Vista on it, but the computers where Linux in running I own them, I just don't use my notebook anymore.

Heres The Solution For the Iphone Under Linux.

Its really easy though, but u need to get the non free sun virtualbox, which is free for normal people like u and me, so heres how it works

Download Sun Virtualbox by adding there Ubuntu repo
Grap a copy off Windows, please don't use illegals, if u do don't tell here!
Start installing Windows, I choosed Windows XP
Make A shared folder ( Please Google how to mount it in Windows )
Install itunes
Connected your iphone, right under in your virtual box u see usb symbol, the iphone will get recognized in Windows
Just add ur music and other stuff to itunes
Have patience, its a virtual box, so it will run a bit slower ( For me example I have intel Atom330 )
Please only update ur music, I duidnt test if it works to upgrade to ( I would lose my jailbreak then )

Cool so I have usb support in Virtual-box will other usb devices work to?

Yes but I think u still need to grab thje Windows drivers, but my Webcam which works in Linux also works in msn

Kubuntu 9.10 Unstable

So my previous blog, I was writing about how unstable (K)ubuntu stable, 9.04 is, now I am going tell about how stable the unstable is, yes kind off funny don't u think? Its called unstable for a reason, but though it now already in state, where I can say its stable.

I just hope it will not end up like 9.04, but the problems why 9.04 is unstable are already fixed.

So why do I like the unstable release of kubuntu so much?

It does not crash.
Does not overload.
Does not freeze.
I have the latest release of kde.
Kde is kept default for most part.

But ofcourse thats not everything, the 5 above mention points also mean I have fun again working with Linux, systems what crash or freeze, thats no fun to work with, its really funny that often unstable is better.

Improvements I can see as being normal but nerdy user.

Desktop effects now work flowless
There is support for Iphone ( Though I can only get images off from the phone )
Desktop effects are flawless with Intel GMA
Kde4.3
VLC player looks again like it did in 8.10

I bet there are more improvements, but I don't use every application and I think not Kubuntu itself brought the big improvements but Kde, but atleast they let intergrate most parts good, I just don't think Arora is good intergrate, because when I open a torrent file I exspect that Arora would open it in Ktorrent.

Same goes for Firefox, its not good intergrated in Kubuntu, I gues in Ubuntu its better intergrated, its kind of shame that I can not open my torrents using Firefox, I wish I would wish how to tell firefox that.

Its a shame, that (K)ubuntu stable is in fact very unstable!

Hello, nice that you are reading my blog, I am going to talk about the (K)ubuntu Linux operating system, which is one of the most popular for people who want to use Linux. Now u think why (K)ubuntu stable is in fact very unstable.

I going explain this and talk about this, I have being using Kubuntu since 7.04 it was in that time like the perfect operating system for me with beryl and stuff like that, so till 8.04 everything was okay, but after that it went from stable to being unstable.

Don't get me wrong I am not talking about 9.10, but 9.04, they released it as stable, though I bet they know that it was highly unstable, why u ask me? I founded out it had to do with X11, many Intel GMA users experience slowness, or random freezing, yes I did to, and was hell.

1 time in week a freeze that would be okay, I mean Osx can freeze to and Windows to, but not like that, it was like 3 a 4 times a day. The only thing I don't get why they don't fix it in stable release when its already fixed in 9.10, because thats reason I am forced to run 9.10, and many other do like me.

Hoe kan ik echt geld verdienen via spaarprogramma's

Hallo, leuk dat je op mijn blog komt, ik ben al hele tijd zelf actief in weer om via internet geld te verdienen, en nu heb ik dus eindelijk een methode gevonden om geld te verdienen, hier kom ik later op terug.

Je hebt vast net als mij gegoocheld op hoe kan ik geld verdienen via internet, daar komen we dan sites tegen, die beweren dat wij makkelijk zonder veel moeite snel geld kunnen verdienen, echter dit is helemaal niet waar.

De praktijk is namelijk zo dat de beloofde vergoedingen bijna nooit te krijgen zijn, nou stel ze beloven jou 0.01 cent voor een ad, in praktijk krijg je echter maar een halve cent vaak, en wat deze sites verder allemaal gemeen hebben is.

De mails leveren gemiddeld maar 1 cent op, en nou valt het mij op dat wanneer een site meer mails stuurt dit geen garantie is voor veel te verdienen.

Dus als je toch graag wil verdienen, dan beleef ik aan om leden te werven, ik heb zelf een manier waarbij ik bij de sites leden werf, maar er zijn genoeg manieren om deze te werven.

Nou is wel zo dat site die hier zeer positief over schrijft er zelf veel mee verdient omdat veel mensen zich via hun refferal link aanmelden, en als jij ook leden kunt aanbrengen dan kun jij ook makkelijk geld verdienen.

Nu zou nog even wat willen uitleggen, sommige sites hebben refferal lvls, dat houdt in dat jij 25% verdient van wat jou aangebracht lid verdient, maar ik ben van mening dat niet zo goed is als de vergoeding die krijgt voor een actieve refferal, dus een aangebracht lid die 10 of 30 cent verdient heeft.

Hier onder overzicht van sites.

Deze doe ik aanbevelen, want hier heb ik al redelijk wat mee verdient in korte tijd, voordeel hier is de vergoeding voor actieve leden is 2 euro, maar daarom zijn er geen refferal levels, let wel op dat je aangebracht lid 10 cent moet verdienen eer je de vergoeding krijgt. Ook kun je spellen spelen en je inzet verdubbelen.

Euroclix snap ik persoonlijk niet zo goed, maar is ook met mailtjes lezen, helaas is deze site niet zo gebruik vriendelijk, hier schijnt je wel snel te kunnen verdienen.

Ik geloof niet dat je hier snel geld verdient, maar is wel leuke website

Deze is ongeveer zelfde als Goumails, ook mogelijkheid om te gokken, maar hier worden refferal lvls gebruikt.

Why OSX works better on the moment then Kubuntu Linux

Hello this is going be my first blog, and i want to talk about why OSX is better for Intel PC's tha Linux Kubuntu, first off all don't think i hate Kubuntu, its in fact my favorite system, but for sometime i am using Osx on the same Intel Atom 330 system, and the different in performance is huge.

Now i don't know wether its illigal or not, but that doesnt mather, because Osx ships on Intel pc's doesnt it? So why would you not Install it on a Intel pc?

The key that Osx performance better, does lie in its grapical perfomance, Osx has minimal grapical effects, and those just work on Intel based grapical chips, rather then that Osx seems more stable than current Kubuntu 8.10.

So what does Kubuntu need to be even with Osx? Just xorg, because intel gma performance way below.

And please don't ask me where to find copy's for Osx. Ps KDE4.2 Rocks, if that would be on Osx as invoriment would be cool.
